Fishing the river channel using a shakey head resulted in a limited number but quality bites.

Caught this 9.3lber last week fishing the river channel in 8-10ft of water using a football jig targeting brush piles that were placed in the lake for the crappie. Also caught several early in the morning on top water using a baby torpedo.

Caught several good bass in the north end in the grass throwing a 1/4oz outkast swim jig in bold bluegill color with a pearl zoom zcraw trailer and a few on a 1/2oz strike king red eye Shad lipless bait fishing the deeper grass in the Channel.
