A thermocline has developed at 10foot. We caught quite a few healthy fish in the slot limit. We did have 2 fish over 18 inches. One came on a football jig and rage craw. The other was on a sweet beaver. A couple of nice fish came on a buzzbait. The bass are relating to the shallow grass that is left of it. We had more bites around the rip rap banks than we did the clay banks. The shake head bite got better later in the day with the higher sky.

We began the day throwing Hybrid Hunters and Buzzbaits on the Main Dam. We caught a few as we progressed around the lake my partner for the day caught a nice 17incher on a 3/8 Oz white Buzzbait. The Hybrid Hunter was catching fish but I switched to a 1/2 oz White Jack Hammer and Matching Zako Trailer and went to town. When the sun finally broke through the clouds we switched to Man Bear Pigs on a 3/8oz weight and a 4/0 Owner jungle flipping hook in the deeper laydowns. In shallower water we used black & blue wacky rigged Senkos in the Shade. we managed 30 Largemouth with 17 between 14 and 17 inches. Was a fun day on the water
