Only buck bass up shallow, back off on weed flats and edges with jerkbaits and bladed jigs for better quality bass and bonus pike

Hard to find good vegetation due to the heavy spraying currently on the lake. We found some good grass in 6-8 feet of water. Post spawners we’re feeding on bluegills in the grass.

Lilly pads were still developing but enough weed growth that there were mats some mats so w looked for a frog bite on the NW half of the lake but didn't get any attention, all the fish that were boated came by throwing 1/2 oz jack hammer against the reeds with bites happening within first few cranks.
