Lake Powell bass fishing is great right now. Focus on the main lake areas with the slower sloping gravel, and chunk rock points. Fish are sitting at 30 feet deep.

Another stop on our 2021 Christmas Road trip. Coming from Texas, this lake has the clearest water I have ever seen. Came right before a cold front so the fishing was tough. I was able to get a bite using a ned rig with 6lb line with boringly slow/no action.

The plopper was getting work done around points and on ledges at dusk. Those late summer bass are targeting shad and the topwater presentation real early or late is the trick!

The bass are on beds and can be caught with drop shots and ned rigs. Light line is a must in the clear water. Look for rock piles in point and along shallow flats. Some fish are in post spawn and those can be caught on cranks and jerkbaits

The entire lake is fishing good right now! Find a secondary point after the sun hits the water and throw anything crawfish-like. Early mornings and just before dark, throw small white surface lures for intense action in the backs of coves and bays. The lake is very healthy fish wise and quality is equalling quantity in most spots. Tight Lines!
