Started my day on a dock with a underwater light. Caught a couple on a 6” Senko wacky rigged. Once the sun came up I switched to a hard jerkbait and caught a couple on the outside of grass patches. Also had a couple bites on a Zoom Trick work in watermelon red with a 3/16 Woo Tungsten weight. Also had a few bites with a Gambler BB Cricket with a 1oz weight in the grass. Good day on the water, but the wind was rough.

Caught a bunch of fish dragging a Gambler Power Ned around on hard bottom/shell as well as around structures like brushpiles and docks. Was fishing it on finesse tackle - medium action spinning setup with 8lbs flourocarbon.

We put our kayaks in at the west side ramp. Started with top water around the ramp. Had 1 blowup but didn’t stick it. Went to try and find something offshore. I only have 2d sonar right now so only could find schools of fish chasing bait. Went to the docks around 9:30 and caught a 4lb 7oz pig under my first dock on a 6” Wacky Yamamoto Senko in green pumpkin. Had a few other bites but noting boated. Wind picked up and decided to change locations and went to the other ramp on the northeast end. Caught 2 others under docks on same worm. My girlfriend caught a few drop shotting a Zoom Trick worm in Green Pumpkin/Red.
