Fish wind blown points with jerkbaits. Long pauses are key to getting bites in the cold water. Baits like the Berkley Stunna that are slow sinking seem to get the most bites.

Water temps were around 48-49F this past weekend. Smallies were found staging around hard bottom points. Lipless crankbaits and jerkbaits were the best producers, wind helped the bite. Shad pattern jerkbaits w/ Chart bellies worked well & Red Craw lipless baits caught better than avg quality fish. 2-8ft depth ranges
