Every smallmouth I caught was in 15-25 ft of water . I caught 22 2 1/2 lb + in 23 casts . The fish were feeding on newly hatched crappie fry .

It was a real grab bag type of day. Early we had some small Largemouths hitting the whopper plopper and a spinner bait. As the sun rose, they went deeper and we found some Bronze backs with drop shot rigs and lipless crankbaits. We also found a fair number of Crappie with some curly tailed jigs and also drop shots.
