Outing was for Sunday, 9/8/2024, weather was sunny, with a fairly strong southwest wind. Water temps were in the 69 to 71 range. We mostly fished shallow and fished docks and pads. 50lb Jbraid chucking frogs really helps with the distance of casts! Seemed like the key was taking it slow with the pads throwing a frog as there were fish there, but had to make enough casts to cover all the areas, or we weren't finding them. Threw frogs quite a bit and also senkos at docks. Caught my largest 2 fish on a frog and a D-Bomb flipped under a dock, probably about 4.5 and 5lbs. Overall caught quite a few fish between the two of us. Probably somewhere in the range of 20ish fish for fishing from about 730am to about 12:30ish. Good morning. Also found the best dock ever! Check out the picture for this report!

Flipping docks in the evening with Missile D-Bombs. A few dinks, then this one. They like greens with red flake

Pitched yamatanuki’s around docks and in the surrounding grass, hit the open spots with a yum dinger. It was HOT but it was easy to find fish hiding in the shade.

Working the frogs slow through the pads. Keeping a pause in the open areas allowing them to slurp them up.

I was targeting docks for largemouth bass. I used this spinning rod to slide my whacky rig underneath docks. Let my bait sit there for 5 seconds before twitching the bait a little bit and just wait for the bite.

Big bass were hovering around bedding bluegill. Finicky with worms in the open, but reacted to the D-Bombs around cover

Casted out a taxes rig green pumpkin with red flakes to really flash in the water and boom I saw my line move as it was dropping and hook set and that’s how I got this guy
