Found them blowing blue gill out of the water schooling hard on the bait. Grass flat areas behind the islands. Still current producing but enough to ambush bait coming through. As fast as you could throw you could catch them. All fish ranged between 2-4lbs. Helped us build a sack for the tournament.

Frog bite was absolutely on. 10mph winds, focus on getting slightly in the back water and throwing the slick areas behind cover. Typically what we found was anytime you could find a smaller tree sticking up but still submerged it would produce a great size bite!

Cover a lot of water fast using a chatter bait, focus throwing around stand alone structure and stand alone reed clumps. When you find one you will find all you can handle. What I found, they were typically schooled up.

The swim jig bite has been hot! As the bluegill move in to spawn, the bass are eager to fill up after a long bedding season. It’s swim jig season.
