Monana Bay this year has been decent. A lot of bluegills being caught. If you are marking and you not catching, downsize. I typically fish Clam drop series jigs and go down to 1/32 and size 14 hook if they are swimming by and not biting. Red spikes are a better choice and a smaller profile than wax worms. There is always a lot of pressure on the bay and the triangle, but you can still find some good ones mixed in.

Fished right away from the rip rap jigging very aggressively, best time to catch numbers was at night for us.

Got fish this weekend April 23/24. Both came off a Strike King Jerkbait in the Strobe Shad color. Chartruese Belly, Ghost Middle, Purple Back. The water I was fishing was 50-52 degrees. The fish seemed to be deeper on weedlines. The area I was in the fish ignored slower presentations like Senkos, dropshots, and finesse jigs. The key is to find the warmer water currently, look for mid 50's to low 60's. Had a few Northern strike at crankbaits, all in brown craw or brown bluegill patterns.

I was fishing Tenny park last night for the Wisconsin opener and got into some decent walleye action. Jerkbaits were a key bait and 4 inch gulp minnows. I would slowly drag the gulp and they would just pick it up. Tight lines!
