We set out in search of a perch dinner. We found f8sh in 12-15ft in the main lake basin. We had to sort through some little ones but ended the day with enough for the frying pan!! Tungsten jig with plastics and spikes were the ticket!!

We fished a drop off off of a shoreline point in about 14ft of water. I marked a ton of fish on my Helix and caught a few nice crappie! You just have to stick to tactics you know work and it will pay off. I did use a variety of colors in 3mm and 4mm tungsten jigs on 2lb ice mono from Sufix.
