Got out and did some corking for few hours before dark with my 6 year old. Multiple hits but couldn't seal the deal. Super light bite and water temps are still low. A few more warmers days will get things going. Small 1.5 to 2in plastic swim baits did the trick for these two.

The weather was very cold, we were using all sorts of bait they were not biting. I finally put a rabbit hair jig and it was lights out. The key color is orange they love that color. We caught a few 10" but mostly they were all 11" and 12". We were there from 6am to about 11am. We had a blast!

Targeting small, isolated groups of fish produced larger size. Smaller fish located around docks and larger fish out deeper in 8-12’.
