Fish are on beds in canals. Stay off the bed as much as you can and make quite flips past bed, drag through the bed. White is easy to see.

This 7.56 boosted our bag to get a check for basschamps on a lake that is fishing really tough right now. Had to slow down and drag a drop shot around on offshore points to fill out our limit at the end of the day

Found a shad spawn early in the morning but with the super clear water they would not touch anything besides this transparent color Choppo. I could see the bass just come up and look at other colors and styles of topwater. Color was a huge factor and it showed with the very natural color soft plastics as well. Lost count on how many fish I caught after making the switch

Targeted beds in the back of creeks and coves and pitching craws under docks on post spawn positions. Seems like the spawn is just about over on this lake.

First of all the lake is muddy from our past storm. Water temp was 68.4. Shallow fishing was a bust for me. Water visibility was poor. A lot of schmuck while trying to skip shallow docks. I fished deeper docks with cranks and skipped a senco. Not a lot of fish caught but it was a nice peaceful day out on the water. I used a Irod Quercus wild card deep Crankin rod paired with a revo winch and Berkley big game green 12#. While skipping I used a Irod Genesis III IRG714C-H paired with a revo zeta using 50# power pro braid. I pegged a 3/16 oz sinker with a 5” green pumpkin senco. All my bites were in deeper water on rock piles or skipping deeper docks.
