Smallmouth are moving around on shallow flats following large schools of perch and small minnows. Wind direction and sun with help you to locate the bait, where the bass will be. The most productive depths have been anywhere from 6 to 12 feet. Look for flats with sparse vegetation and rocks or gravel mixed in, utilizing electronics will greatly increase productivity.

Great weekend on the water fishing the Dropshot! The Zman Trick ShotZ is an awesome bait that is made from Zman’s ElaZtech material so no more one hit wonder soft plastics. Will be a go to of mine going forward. Bonus… it also caught some walleye!
