Saw a lot of spots cruising around in shallow water. Hooked up with a good one using a Yo-Zuri 3DB 1.5 shallow crankbait in gizzard shad. The Strike king KVD 1.5 square bill is very similar.

If you can find any sand with lay downs and fish with a green pumpkin pearl color you will catch not only numbers but big ones too. Also, fish with a small pearl swimbait later in day.

Sunny and windy with water temps in the mid 60’s. Water was clear on the lower end and stained further up the creeks. Fish were following everything from top water to cranks but would not commit. Boated several 4-5lb spots skipping a 6” Magdraft around deeper boat docks and smaller neighborhood marinas.

Pictured is the smallest at 8" largest caught was 16". Caught 1 on the missile baits ned and 4 on the baby bass. Wind was blowing around 5 mph. Throwing around over hanging trees, blown down trees and around large boulders. Was tough after the spawn. All reaction bait would only get followers. Slowed down and threw the wacky with a little weight to it.
