We thought there would be more fish spawning, but we were wrong. We utilized the middle of creek channels, some bank dropoffs, really anything that was in 20-30ft deep. The suspended bass were the easiest to swing a swimbait down to. The ones on bottom were much less interested, but sometimes one would come up to eat the swimbait. As soon as we got closer to the main lake, there were more suspended out there instead of in the creek channels, but we didn't figure that out until the last half hour of our day We did get on a couple up shallow but the majority of the fish seemed to be actively feeding out deeper
