Found smallmouth and walleye on clean bottom areas of structure in 18-21 feet of water. Most were suspended 5-7 feet off bottom.but would follow drop-shot down to bottom and eat. Shocked at number of good walleyes we caught on the Flat Worm. Moved after catching several in order to focus on smallmouth. Largemouth were in grass and the drop shot produced at least a couple dozen to 3.5 pounds.

With the recent cold nights, water temperature are still sitting in the low to mid 50s. Crappies are staging in 6-10'. Slow presentations have been key. Try 2" plastics under a float to keep the bait in front of the fish.
