Found a school of stripers feeding off of a shallow point. They wanted the jerkbait worked quickly, and hit it on movement with short pauses.

The males are starting to move up shallow getting ready for the spawn. Got multiple bites on a suspending shallow jerkbait working it with a standard twitch and pause retrieve. Pausing for a few seconds worked best.

Walleye were active during rainy weather and actively blowing up on bait. Multiple keeper size walleye caught around boulders on Liffy Island in coves adjacent to deep water and released. Slow rolled chatterbait near boulders.

The bass are up shallow and spawning, now's the time to find those flats and spawning areas searching for fish on or around beds. My favorite techniques this time of year are to drag a carolina or texas rig with a lizard imitation around the beds. You will likely be in shallow water, so a smaller weight to give it a slow, natural presentation works best.

The dropshot got it done for the Crappie in 8-10 ft of water. Let it sink then work it fairly quickly back to the boat.
