Smallmouth up on beds. Found a few largemouth on docks and pilings. A few on beds too. Hit them with beds like the Z-man TRD’s until they get mad enough to pick it up. Should be even better in the next few weeks.

A hair jig in the cold and clam conditions will get you bites when nothing else will! Don't use too heavy of line! Also, the flats with some scattered grass are good places to fish the hair jig as well.

A 15 foot crankbait in windy conditions can catch fish at Havasu. A 6th Sense Cloud 9 C15 can smash out there. Especially in the pre-spwan. Just cover water.

Spring can be insane at Lake Havasu, but early spring can still be tough. Sometimes the largemouth bass will come up onto some of the shallow flats prior to spawning, and a chatterbait can be good early in the day, or in the wind.

Trolling flicker shad in 15-20 ft of water, something with chartreuse seemed to be a little better but silver back white belly worked also.

Never saw any shallow fish . Jerkbaits were long pause on 8lb. Fluorocarbon. Kietech thrown on 3/16 ball head all strikes were on the fall
