Bass were in the backs of creeks getting ready to move up and spawn. Water temps were anywhere from 58-62 degrees in the creeks on the north end. There was a golden algae bloom on the south end of the lake mostly from rough creek and south that had a fish kill going on. Caught most bass on a shaky head trick worm or tx rigged rage bug. Really tough conditions but caught a lot of males

Fish were in pre-spawn pushing shallow. Caught three in practice. Biggest came off a small dock upriver on a squarebill and two under-sized off rip-rap on a bridge. During the tournament I caught one 3.49 pounder early on a deeper diving crankbait on the same rip-rap and then two more undersized, one off the other side of the same bridge off concrete and the other off a different bridge with a mix of grass and rip-rap. Lots of white bass off the rip-rap as well throughout the day.
