2 of us had a limit of nice walleye in less than 2 hours. Evening between 6 & 8 in 4 - 8 ft of water. Also caught several nice smallies. 6th Sense Provoke 106X Jerkbait.

The shad are on points, in the bays, or on humps in less than 20 FOW. I was casting a paddle tail on a jig head with a slow retrieve. For every other cast, I would use a yo-yo-type retrieve to mix it up. The SMB would hit hard, but you have to compete with all of the shad, so the bites can be few and far between.

I had a good time out in South Dakota chasing around some chad chasers. They were into a sparkshad pretty good slow-rolled on the bottom. They would also eat a ned rig dragged through the same areas. They were only on certain points it seemed, they would chase the ned rig if you saw them on FFS and follow a swimbait.
