Fish are transitions to post-spawn with the shad spawn starting. Target rock and dock transition points to find bait early with a square bill. Once the sun comes up, target shallow docks and other structures for some spawning and post spawn fish.

Was a tough evening. My little brother managed to get one on a YUM Pulse paddle tail swimbait. Couldn’t find it as an option on here so I found the next best option in pretty much the exact same color. 1/8th ounce belly weighted hook. My dad also had a blowup on a buzz bait along some rocks in a cove. Best time is probably during the early morning.

The white bass and hybrid striped bass were shallow busting on Shad around 8:25am. Had the best luck on 1/4 ounce Rat-L-Traps as well as 5/8th ounce 6th sense quake lipless crankbaits. Largemouth bass bite has been tough due to the rising water.
