Fish are transitions to post-spawn with the shad spawn starting. Target rock and dock transition points to find bait early with a square bill. Once the sun comes up, target shallow docks and other structures for some spawning and post spawn fish.

Threw everything in the tackle box and they still would only bite a crankbait. Quite a few undersized and only one keeper. Lost a really good one on a drop shot that definitely would’ve helped. Caught two small ones cranking the dam and got the keeper on the rocks on main lake by the boat ramp. All were sitting up pretty shallow. 6-9ft crankbaits. Wouldn’t let me select it for some reason. Googan recon kosmo Shad

The white bass and hybrid striped bass were shallow busting on Shad around 8:25am. Had the best luck on 1/4 ounce Rat-L-Traps as well as 5/8th ounce 6th sense quake lipless crankbaits. Largemouth bass bite has been tough due to the rising water.

Was a tough evening. My little brother managed to get one on a YUM Pulse paddle tail swimbait. Couldn’t find it as an option on here so I found the next best option in pretty much the exact same color. 1/8th ounce belly weighted hook. My dad also had a blowup on a buzz bait along some rocks in a cove. Best time is probably during the early morning.
