Throw shallow crankbaits near rock with a slow retrieve. Thermocline was high so most bites were reactionary in 0-2' of water. Other techniques that worked: jigs, texas rigs, and chatterbaits all near sunken wood.

Was slip bobber fishing about 20 yds off shore from rip fap and rock banks about 3.5 to 4 ft deep caught over a dozen that were 12+ inches and a few bedding largemouth on same bait just took off bobber and bounced it through there bed. Water was gin clear and bass were bedding everywhere you could see had gravel.
