We have a tourney coming up on Lake Conway in April, so I decided to pre-fish a creek I've never been in. Water was roughly 2' low, the color of chocolate milk, and still cool up in the creek. On main lake, I caught on the RkCrawler MD, and then up in the creek, I caught on jigs, and bladed jigs. The fish were small, and the quantity was limited, but I did catch!

Prefishing for a tourney coming up on Lake Conway. Flipping a 1/2 black/blue jig into the reeds handed out some quality fish. To finish out the rest of the limit, a 1/8 underspin with a small keitech caught the rest.

Flipping the Yum Dinger on a VMC Neko Hook and let it fall was the trick for catching a lot of bass off of Cyprus Trees. I also used a weightless lizard and both were in June Bug color.

Same pattern as the weekend prior. Swim jigs next to banks or standing timber that had no pads near them. Was able to scratch out a limit, but not enough to place, or help our team secure the win. Swim jig pattern was still on fire, I just didn't cover enough water for this lake to find the bigs.

Prefishing for a tournament coming up the following weekend, I was able to put together a simple pattern of swim jigs throwing against banks and timber that WEREN'T located next to pads. The pads had been sprayed, and looked like they were dying off. Throw jig, let jig touch down, and then swim it back slowly.
