Crappie were great in brushpiles in 20-30 ft of water if they came up to 18-15 ft. Jigs were the ticket!

Went out looking for bedding bass, stayed on the South end of the lake and worked some docks I haven't fished in a while. Caught 3 keepers over 16", but all of them were gorged on small 2" long minnows. Everyone I put in the boat were spitting them up.

Flipping trick worm around grass and pads got the only bite. Tough this time of year but worth it when you get one!

Wacky rigging a trick worm caught a very nice Warmouth. These guys are super aggressive and eat baits twice their size often. Also caught a few bass as well. Make sure that tail is dipped and get to catching!

Brush Piles
Dragging a shakey head through/around brush piles brought us two of our bigger bites in the late evening. There was some success going directly through the brush pile, but the majority of the bites came from targeting the outer edge closest to the bank.
