Paired up the Dirty jigs L.C. 3/8oz with the X-zone Lures 3.25 muscle back Finesse Craw, November 2020. The combo has been very successful. I simply let it fall and drag it slowly or hop it and pause it for a few seconds.

Started early in the back of pockets catching a couple on top with a Super Spook & went hunting for the bait balls after the sun got up. Once the bait was found, the bass were on bottom close by. Cleaned up with a Carolina Rigged creature bait (Grande Bass Mutant)

We fished Lake Conroe for the Luck of the Draw tournament in November, the weather was absolutely terrible. The wind was blowing 25 out of the north, and the night before it rained all night. We launched out of stowaway marina and ion the morning we stayed north of 1097, caught a few small fish and nothing else. After that we decided to brave the waves and run south. We fished all day flipping docks with 6th sense stoker craws and stumbled upon on solid 3.5 lber. He was in the darkest part of the dock and only bit after i soaked my bait for about a min. Fishing was tough that day for everyone but a few solid bags were brought in and the general consensus was that the fish were in the dirt.

Water temp 59° when I launched at 08:30 & 60° when I got off the water at 13:30. Today was actually hot for mid-January, almost 80°. We’ve had several warm nights the last week so I stayed shallow all day. I only caught 3 but a couple were the “right” ones. No signs of cruising fish or any on beds. Water clarity is great, probably 3 foot of visibility in some places. Bites came on: cranking & drop shot. 6th Sense Curve 55 in Ghost Brown Craw, Daiwa Fuego 7’ Medium, Daiwa Fuego 7.3:1, Sunline Super FC Sniper 14# Zoom Z3 Trick Worm Bold Bluegill, Owner Cover Shot 2/0, 3/16th cylinder tungsten drop shot weight, Daiwa Tatula 7’3” Medium Drop Shot Rod, Daiwa Tatula LT 2500 reel, Sunline SX1 16# Hi Vis Yellow to Sunline FC Fluorocarbon 10# Leader.
