The water was high and muddy but had a warm day. Got to fish for a couple hours and caught two. One on a jerkbait and one on a crankbait. They were both on flats close to drops.

Caught 20+ Largemouth on the Day. Fishing grass edges and skipping docks. Every abnormality would be holding a fish! Great day on the water!

Find grass with wood close by. Grass around deeper water is also a key.

Just some little ones today. But I really liked how the Shimano FC line felt on the jerkbait rod and on my cranking rod. The bite I got came off points. In about 12ft of water.

Most bites came when thoroughly fishing isolated cover and grass edges. I was using a White Epic Baits Swim Jig. (The drop down didn’t have that option)

Submerged grass edges were the key to catching fish all day. Flip a Pitboss on the top of the grass, when it falls off the edge is when the bass we’re hitting it!

Fish were scattered shallow all day. Fish are actively moving up and looking for bedding areas. First half of the day we caught most of our fish on a white swim jig. After 2PM, we caught all our fish on a wacky rig (white yum Dinger) and a drop shot with a roboworm. Also caught a couple fish flippin a baby bass senko. We would get more bites when throwing into shallow water but sitting in 10-20 feet of water. They key right now is finding shallow water that quickly drops into deep water. Areas with grass and lay downs produced the most bites.
