Use a weightless wacky rig in emerging lilypads and tight against the grass. I was using a 5" Yamamoto Senko Worm, motor oil with large red flake coloring. Also quickly working a frog over the weeds was producing some blowups in the middle of the day.

Caught some small crappies, a handful of small bluegill and a bass! Used small 1/16 and 1/32 oz jigs with insect plastics and just slow cast and retrieve.
