Had success catching fish up to 16 inches on top water, both the 6th Sense Speed Wake and a Booyah Pad Crasher off points close to shore. We fished sunrise immediately after a rain storm so the clouds and rain keep the top water bite good for 3 hours. Success up to 17.5" throwing a bladed jig through the dying grass and ripping it threw. They seemed to hit it most when you felt like you were hung and had to rip it through. This is on a wind blown shoreline.

Fishing the edges of Lily pad beds and inside of the Milfoil/Pond Weed edges, working slowly, picked up over two dozen largemouth over 14" between my fishing partner and myself. Largest was 19".

Water clarity was 4-6 feet, which is rare for Lake Anita. Emergent vegetation just starting to push up. Most fish were in 2-4 feet of water on lily pad edges.
