Fishing the Ear Falls end - Working 3/8 or 1/2 oz jigs in 18-25 FOW on ledges next to deeper water. Successful colors were blue/white, chartreuse, and chartreuse/orange. Minnows or leeches didn't seem to matter. Sometimes a white twister was used with live bait. Many northerns in the area also made for some interesting action.

Fished NW section of Lac Seul out of Fishermen’s Cove Resort. Devon is very knowledgeable about where the fish are, and willing to explain what to look for. Fished usual spring time areas, McKenzie and Broad with good success, but mostly smaller walleyes and northern, picked up the occasional bigger fish. Fished the southern bays on the sand flats and picked up the bigger fish, 24”- 28 1/2” walleye, and 35” northern being the largest of the nine guys for the week. Great fishing and already booked for next year. Tight lines!

Smallmouth are starting to push onto the bank and can be easily caught on shallow diving crank baits. This is an awesome way to cover water and have a ton of fun!
