River Channels
If you anchored or spot locked on the edge and cast into the middle of the river channel into the 4-5 ft deep area and set your bobber so your lure is down approximately 16-18", you would tend to catch crappies more in the 8-9" range vs. the smaller ones on the edge. Mixed in you'll also catch some nice 8-8.5" gills too.

Most success on this lake for me comes with the shakey head setup. Natural green colors and reeling very slow with pauses while bouncing off the bottom.

Had the most success with a shakey head rigged worm. Got some additional bites with a chatter bait set up.
