Big sunfish in 5-6 feet of water. Sunfish anywhere from 7-9 inches. Kids had a blast! Kids used bobbers tipped with a wax worm. A few caught on some plastics with no bobbers also.

Most of the Horseshoe Chain has poor clarity so black/blue was important. The 5 lbr hit the jack hammer coming over top of the weeds, however the rest of the fish were either on the outside of the weed edge in about 10 ft or up shallow (4 ft) in pockets of matted grass. I tied directly to braid and colored about 3 ft of my line with a black sharpie so that none of my fish would come off. They won't see it in this water (pea green). Thanks for reading & supporting Omnia Fishing!

Tournament on horseshoe chain this weekend. Found our fish up shallow under pads and other matter vegetation. The Vega frog worked well here due to it being heavier and a little larger than normal frogs so these fish could find it in the dirty water and matted veg. Got one bonus smallie up shallow as well

Lake is filled with great Milfoil topped out. Fish shallow 2 to 4 feet on beds where there is sand and rock mixed with Milfoil. Lots of big Largemouth.
