Rip Rap
Cranking riprap with a Spro Rock Crawler in 6-10 of water brought a couple of bites around midday. The water was slightly stained and 44-46 degrees on the main lake. We also had a couple bites flipping a 5/8 ounce Cage Feider jig on outside channel swings in 3-5 feet of water. The key was finding near vertical laydowns.

Was able to catch a few nice largemouth hanging tight to laydowns. Flipped a bluegill colored jig with a rage craw trailer rigged sideways. Where there were open shorelines a small, white jerk bait worked on the smallmouth.

If you find yourself struggling on Lake Delhi then be sure to tie on a Ned Rig. It doesn't seem to matter what time of the year it is, this bait will catch some fish for you. It works the best around rocky shorelines or rock piles in deeper water. Just drag it along the bottom and occasionally let it sit. Depending on you location you'll be able to catch largemouth, smallmouth, crappie, bluegill, rock bass and even some nice walleye. Green Pumpkin always seems to work.

Slow fishing until late, flipping dock and got some good bites under the docks later into the evening.

A lot of the fish were caught pitching docks with wacky rigs or jigs. Black and blue worked the best for how stained the water was. The farther up river you got, the clearer and colder the water got.

Went out for a few hours with my son and caught a few on a tube dipped in orange die. Nothing crazy big but had a good time!

If you got your Ned Rig within a foot of the bank and hopped it on the rocks you were going to get bit. Had to be patient and work it slow to get those extra bites. The OutKast Perfect Ned has the toughest paint I've used on a Ned Rig hook. Caught almost 20 fish on one hook and it's still sharp and no chips.
