Texas rigged. Twitching off bottom. First time setting up and running a senko, got him within 30 minutes. Shad are still really active in this cove. Crappie and bass are loving that area.

Slow retrieve, just learning the lake and the pattern for the time. Mini king spinner. Pictures shown in video. Anything resembling a shad or anything shiny was doing great this week. The spinner is shown in the video but it's a black and green spinner with a gold blade. Don't think it would've really mattered, they were biting anything shiny. Lots of brush in this area, sticks and stumps, docks and artificial attractions.

I was using a curl tail on a beetle spinner rig. Also had luck with a shad like soft bait, and a silver / black crankbait. The shad were spawning so anything that resembled them was game.

The exact bait I was using was the "creme spoiler spin 1/8 oz" google it and it'll he the first result. Slow retrieves all day on this catch, was just trying to learn the area. 1/8 oz and other smaller Spinners also showed great results. Will put them in listing as well The mini king strike king Spinners were my bread and butter during this week Good colors were black and lime green with gold spinners

Was using these and the paddle tail 1.5" spoiler shad baits, both with a spinner setup. The crappie were hitting by the dock just lazily dragging around the rod. Some bass were there too same rig just casting and slow retrieve.
