Bass are shallow and feeding before getting on beds. Get up shallow and cover water with a swim jig until you find areas more concentrated with fish. Even some frog fish to be had - very fun bite!

We set out on gull lake for our regular wednesday night tournement. In order to maximize our bites before a storm rolled through we focused on covering water using weightless flukes and swim jigs. with the sun going down we managed to get a few big bites on hollowbody frogs.

10-11-22, Water temps 56 degrees. Found decent numbers of fish scattered in the reeds. It was important that reeds were the only vegetation present, as I didn't find anything is reeds mixed with other weeds. Fish were established on hard bottom.
