Flipping jigs on deep trees, shaky head also seemed to produce. Caught them shallow on laydowns as well but deep produced the best fish.

the bass up shallow were tucked deep under laydowns, almost to the bank. some would follow a soft jerkbait but most bites came on a reaction strike from a chatterbait. throw something that will skip well into shaded areas
