With the cooler temperatures, the fish are fattening up for winter. Moving baits fished over and around cover produced the most bites. Shallow running cranks in a bluegill color did well. Jerkbaits also produced some of my bigger fish.

Tough day after the heat wave. Small bites on some other baits, but the Yum Dinger won the day. Dropping a wacky rig in front of vegetation got a handful.

Trolling at 2.6 - 3.0 mph in 10-14’ of water along weed edges and drop offs was super productive. Pike in this lake are super aggressive, and lots of fun to catch…even the small ones.

Lots of small schools at 12-14 feet deep, sonar helps to find. Drop the ned down, give it a couple pops and enjoy the fight
