One of the nicest days of fishing of the year concerning the weather. Majestic. Overcast with a bit of sprinkles through the afternoon. Caught a lot of Smallie dinks, 0 to 1.5 pounds. Personal Best or I should say Person Least Walleye, 5 inch 2 ounce cute little guy. I got tired of catching dinks and made a solid effort to break my frog draught. Zero fish and not even a swirl. 😭 I still had fun and it was very active with huge carp. There are some big carp out there. Such a nice day I stayed longer than I planned even despite the busy lake and boat wash. Confirmed my dislike of weekend fishing. Great day. Very blessed and grateful. Glory to God 🙌 Check Out The Video https://youtu.be/xHB2n4bJuHU

Caught this on a point of a weed bed. @10 miles up the Spokane Arm. Lot of activity on the Down scan. I was not targeting Walleye but there were plenty to be had around the 15 ft depth.

The fishing was good in that the fish were actively feeding. However, conditions were changing which made the fish very "Independent" (appropriately enough). Caught 6 fish on 6 different baits adjusting as the conditions and area dictated. This was the biggest, 3.5 lb. A little football I caught on the chatter bait. Lot of work... Lot of fun! Live Free and Happy 4th!!
