I was here fishing for white bass and this little guy came up and hit my rig. My rig was a simPoe white white bass rig with a 1/16 ounce green jig head with a trailer from Bobby garland crawfish color. I just let my rig sit on top of those rock piles and felt something bit. Boom this guys hit it.

The water is warming, and the bass are becoming aggressive. This 16in bass hit close to the boulder strewn shore, shortly after a missed strike. The Bellows Gill Swimmer will be a key bait to have tied on this spawn.

Letting the fluke drift in the current with occasional twitches was the deal for this channel catfish, and a handful of dink smallmouth on this outing. Fish are positioned near deep sections in the river, and behind rocks. Fluke was rigged on a 5/0 Superlined Gamakatsu EWG.
