I caught fish throwing an a-rig around bluff walls. Finding fish with livesocpe and then dropping the a-rig down to them can be very productive.

Bluff walls are a great place to find fish in the winter. I caught fish dropping a blade bait down the sides of bluff walls. Let it flutter to the bottom and then jig it back up.

I was using electronics to graph fish in 20-35ā of water following the river channels. When I spot fish Iād hit spot lock and vertically drop the Zman graph Shadz on the fish. No need to jig aggressively, just hold dead stick with slight movements keeping it just above the fish.

Good sunglasses will help you find schooling fish feeding on shad right now. Lately we've found success throwing a swimjig with a small swimbait trailer to mimic the forage. Throwing the swimbait on the swimjig allows you to cast much further. It makes reaching schools of fish much easier without having to constantly reposition your boat.

Trolling the river channel looking for rock/boulders or brush piles in 25-35ā of water. Once I find fish on the electronics I drop live bait just above the fish.
