Topwater spooks, and finesse poppers are awesome early morning late evening right now. Then move deeper with a drop shop on the gradual chunck rock points. Definetly higher numbers of fish to be caught on the utah size. Majority are small, but you can tie into some good ones everyonce in a while

Fished kokanee june 6,7,8,and 9th. We caught only half of what we usually catch. Largest was 3 lbs 4 oz and only caught one of these. Total catch was around 40 fish compared to 80 in years past in 4 days of fishing. Most were 2 lbs or more and many smaller than that. Also caught some rainbows up to 2.5 lbs and lake trout up to 3 lbs. We were told it was slower than usual before we started fishing but it has been getting better recently. Fished the Buckboard, Pipeline, and South Canyon areas. Three other fishermen that stayed in the other cabin at Lucerne hired a guide one day from Vernal and each caught three 20 plus pound lake trout trolling the pipeline and lost one that was even bigger, very impressive.

Long lining dragging the bottom using T 50 flatfish has been fairly good for 20+ pound Lake trout
