Lily Pads
Coming into the late Fall days, Fish Lake will lose a huge percentage of its healthy vegetation. Concentrate on the whatever lil-pads are left on the lake, even if they are just stems. I would slow crank a square bill in the open areas outside of the pad fields, or slow roll a swim jig through the stems and available pads. Wacky senko can also play a role if you have the patience to soak it in high percentage areas. Also concentrate on the points of the lake in 6-10ft where the weed-lines are still available down deep. You won't be catching a ton of numbers, but you should grab a few handfuls of average sized bass and usually one big one over 3.5+ - Good luck!

This report is for 11/5/2022, was out about 8am to 1130am. Weather was post cold front with clear skies. Starting out windy and moving to crazy windy. Fishing was very slow but lucked into one very nice fish in the 4 to 4.5lb range. Tried a bunch of tactics with no luck.....no takers on a 5" swimbait or jerkbait. Caught this momma on a half ounce All Terrain jig with a Berkely Chigger craw on back.

Try the outer edge of the weed line, 10-15ft of water. There are plenty of 3-5lb pike in this lake too.

The fish are getting ready to start the fall eating, they are not quiet there yet and it was hard to get bit on a moving bait. They seemed to be staging around grass lines and getting ready to get the fall bite on
