Absolutely crushed them on the outside weedlines around the lake. The cleaner the weed-line the better. Caught around 25, mostly medium and small fish. Lost one large (5#-ish) fish on a football jig. This was early August in MN.

Finding just about any point with any sort of weeds held fish. Very high numbers of 10-12 inch bass. Occasionally a bigger one would bite. Any color got bites.

Dog days of summer had us heading for deep cover and finesse fishing. Finding good weed growth held the fish. There is an abundance of small bass on this lake, and can make for a fun time with kids or new anglers.

Found multiple schools of largemouth on rocks in about 12-15 feet of water. Bluegill colored football jigs were the best baits.

On a bluebird sky hot 90 degree day: Keeping the boat in about 16-20ft depth, the better bass were biting slow fished jigs in 12-15ft. Had to pause 20sec, drag a ft or two, pause repeat. Neko rigged senkos and Ned rig also produced a lot of bass.

Fishing date was 6/18, fish were definitely biting on this sunny/windy day. Fish on this lake always tend to be on the outside weedline from my experience. Water temps were around 72-73. Caught a high volume of small fish, with a few medium bass mixed in. Lucky techniques were drop shot with a Rhythm Wave 2.75" in Sexy Albino on a Covershot hook, fished about 16" off the bottom. Others in the boat were having luck with jig worms and shakey heads. Overall a great day.

A cool day with clouds and intermittent light rain through the day. The best bass bit on a senko skipped under docks. In the morning a Berkley Choppo caught our limit of bass. But bass could also be caught all day in 15ft of water on dropshots, ned rigs, finesse jigs, and football jigs.

Absolutely no shortage of bites. Focused on offshore points. Drop shot was key for getting large numbers of bites but in order to get anything of size turned to a 1/2 oz jig slow dragging on those same points. Most fish were 1-1.5 lbs with a few 2.5+ lbs mixed in.
