3/16 oz shaky heads with 7" finesse worms are working great. Find rock transitions on 45 degree or steeper banks and you will catch bass. Also, bass are relating to wood near the bank as well. Look for laydowns and stickups as well.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcdy2gwXiH4 Talking late April- Early May. Shad spawn with white swim jigs around floating docks and large laydowns. Then once that bite dies down, moving towards main lake points and transition areas leaving spawning coves, covering water with a Swing Head and a Big Bite Fighting Frog

Casting a frog deep into the tree line and working it with a jerk - jerk - pause Cadence produced many bites in the morning until early afternoon. Switching to the Rage bug and flipping with a 3/16oz weight pegged into light cover produced several bites but only few keepers.

Baitfish
Fished the BFL as a co-angler out of Dandridge. We started close to the ramp sitting in 20 to 30 feet of water. My Boater was live scoping fish so I was fan casting to busting fish in the back with the Shower blow. Caught my 1st keeper on my second cast. Had 3 others miss my bait so followed up with a Caffeine shad which they would hit on the fall. Caught my second keeper burning a Strike King Hybrid hunter through schooling fish. Ended the day with 3 keepers and caught Several smallmouths on topwater.
