Shallow weeds with coontail/pondweed mix or open sand spots in the weeds held fish. Good quality fish in this lake, but numbers were not great. Most fish came on moving baits, but the largest fish came on the worm.

The water temp was really warm so the bass were under the docks for shade.

Set your bobber 2 ft. Use small red worms with a trailer. The Bluegills hit better with live fresh worms...change often. Cast out near the current but at the ledge. The fish are sitting in the calm away from the strong current. Attach your lure with a loop knot.
