In the search for topwater now that we are finally experience summer weather. Around 7-8:30am. Had 3 blowups but only two caught. The smallest one gave me the biggest rush with a giant explosion walking over a submerged log. There will be more! 2lbs 1oz for biggest fish.

Caught 3 fish all weighing between 3.5-4lbs. Used a two foot leader and made long casts to drag worm back to my boat like a swimming drop shot. Caught all within 1.5 hours. These worms have some high end action along with durability. I caught all on one worm that was T-rigged.

Tossed around the buzz bait early morning. Water was a lot warmer than ambient temperature so I’d figure I’d give topwater a shot. Bass slurped i around the docks. 5-7ft of water. 3lbs 12oz. Would recommend buzz baits to get fish aggro and 1-2 punch with a worm/fluke.

Trout stocked lake. Usually anything that can resemble a trout will get worked on here. Magdraft and Spinnerbait put in the work!

First fish of the day ending up being my biggest! Caught using a MH-F rod with 12lb braid to 8lb flouro (I would recommend 10-12lb fluoro instead but didn’t want to retie my leader). Skipped under a dock with 10ft of water and tons of high grass. Bass choked it and the hook went through its mouth and back in from the top. Hook is sharp!
