Bite was scarce as the bass weren’t moving up just yet. Water temps still cool for spawning bass. Most of the lake clear with some muddy spots. Loaded up the boat early.

The lake is full of grass right now. Throwing a chatter bait around the docks would get you bit, but bites are still finicky from the colder water temps.

Water has dropped about 6” from last week. Water is still stained, but not near as muddy as last week. Caught a couple flipping bot docks with a Zoom Speed Worm. Bass weren’t biting flipping jigs this day.

Bouncing a black and blue flipping jig did the trick this day. Bass were biting the jig halfway from the bank to the boat. Water was almost at normal pool and quite muddy after a big rain the day before.
