Muddy water but still holding in the mid 50’s. Started off throwing hybrid hunters, cranking grass in the middle of the river. Switched over to 6 sense swank for better colors in the muddy water and started focusing on stumps and found some bigger bites.

Fishing the river on the north end. Grass is thinning with low night time temps and water clarity is improving. Fish slow early close to the bank Texas rigged stick baits in black and blue have been hot. When the sun is overhead still having success with Hybrid Hunter over submerged grass and wood. Keep a square bill handy with the grass thinning and bounce them off submerged stumps. Some monster fish still hanging around the wood.

Hit the river and flipped banks. A few bed fish but very hard to see because water clarity is so bad. Pre-spawn is in full effect and they are getting to the back of pockets. Main creek arms look for flooded cover and get in deep. We also had some success with red and black hybrid hunters. Throw them on the bank and bring them back out fast hitting everything you can.
