I went out on the river and crushed the largemouth. Fish are starting to get into heavy groups in ditches/creek mouths. Fish can also be found in the thick hydrilla. I recommend using your livescope/active target to pinpoint the fish in the creek mouths. It is cold but the bass fishing is EXCELLLENT!!!

The Copper River is fishing decent at the moment. If you find the right mats you will find quality fish. Big fish are in the mats and numbers are in the ditches/channels. Don’t fish too fast because you will skip over fish and when there is one there are usually a few more.

Find matted grass in the very backs of East Branch creeks like Huger. Bream and shellcracker can be caught using black or white beetle spins but were best with red worms under a cork.
