Fished Cokato Wensday afternoon for a few hours. Had 6-8" of ice out there. Found the water to be rather stained for this time of year. Set up on a rock break in 16-18'. Caught to many 6-8" Perch to remember. Caught 6 Walleyes around the 13" mark. Also picked up 3 15" Smallies. Small jigging raps and spin jigs tipped with gulp maggots where the hot baits.

I hopped around the lake to quite a few different spots. All my fish came in 10-14’ of water. I caught one or two fish on each spot and mainly on the top edge of a steep drop. Drop shot, ned rig, and slip bobbers with live bait all produced.

Interesting lake. We caught 7 smallies in 3.5hrs from 2 to 15ft. Shallow weeds and sand, to rock humps to docks. Caught fish on bone poppers, drop shots, wobble heads and swimming jigs. Fish were definitely scattered and post spawn. Also, not sure i have seen many lakes with a higher density of carp, we caught 2 carp on Ned Heads.
